How We Designed the TailsPal Smart Feeders 🛠

TailsPal started with one question: “What if every stray animal could always find clean food and water in a safe place?”
That idea turned into a mission. But making a smart feeder was a journey of empathy, engineering, and endless testing.

🔍 Where It Began

• We studied how stray dogs and cats survive in Georgian cities
• Interviewed rescuers and volunteers
• Mapped the needs: what, where, when

The result? A need for constant care points, even without people nearby.

🧠 The Concept: 3 Goals

1. ❄ Autonomous — food and water dispensed without people
2. 💡 Smart — motion and refill sensors
3. 🧼 Easy to maintain — for volunteers on the move

🧪 How Many Prototypes?

More than 5 full versions:

• Cardboard models
• Plastic mockups
• Park tests in Batumi
• Final iron design: strong, weatherproof, street-ready 💪
