Every tail deserves a friend. 🐾

About our smart feeders

TailsPal smart feeders are one of the future directions of the project that we are developing to help street animals in Georgia.

Our goal is to create smart care points where dogs and cats can regularly receive food and water, while foundations, volunteers, and partners can use a convenient tool for more systematic support. 🐾

We see these feeders as part of a broader animal care infrastructure — especially in places where постоянная помощь is not available nearby, but the need for support exists every day.

How will the smart feeders work? ⚙️

TailsPal smart feeders are special devices with automatic food and water dispensing. They will be connected to the platform, managed remotely, and equipped with monitoring and notification systems.

The project includes the following features:
🕐 operation throughout the day
🍽️ automatic dispensing of food and water through separate sections
📹 online cameras to monitor the care point
🌐 internet connection for status control and refilling
📲 the ability to support remotely, including from another country
🔒 vandal-resistant protection for the корпус and key elements

We want each such point to be not just a feeding place, but a safe and clear system of regular help for animals.

Food and treats: how can it work?

We are considering several ways to support these care points:

💳 On-site — Using a bank card or a QR code near the feeder, it will be possible to pay for the dispensing of food or water.
📱 Remotely — In the future, we plan to add the ability to support remotely through the mobile app or the TailsPal platform.

Feeders with an additional vending section 🦴

Some feeders installed in public places — for example, in parks, near shops, along walking routes, and on promenades — may in the future also be equipped with an additional vending section.

In such a section, it may be possible to purchase useful products for pets and street animals, for example:

🔸 vitamin bones
🔸 chewing sticks
🔸 soft treats for senior dogs
🔸 functional treats
🔸 waste bags
🔸 wipes for paws and faces

💰 Revenue from such sales may be used to support the project, maintain active care points, and launch new feeders.

Management and transparency 📲

With the TailsPal platform, we plan to:

🔸 track feeder fill levels
🔸receive real-time notifications
🔸plan refilling and maintenance
🔸collect photo and video reports
🔸analyze how care points work and what different locations need

This will help make support more transparent, convenient, and understandable both for the project team and for partners, foundations, and future sponsors.

Why are smart feeders needed? 🐕

Street animals need regular help, not one-time support. That is why we see smart feeders as an important direction for the future development of the project.

These care points can help:
💧 provide animals with water and food on a regular basis
🙌 support animals in places where volunteers cannot be present all the time
🧼 reduce pollution and mess caused by uncontrolled feeding
❤️ make help more thoughtful, systematic, and sustainable

Where might the first feeders appear?

To ensure help appears where it is truly needed, locations for installation will be selected together with foundations, volunteers, and partners.

📍 The starting point of the project is Batumi, Georgia.

Possible locations include:
🔸 areas where street dogs gather
🔸parks, squares, and walking zones
🔸shelter and foundation territories
🔸highways and bypass roads
🔸rural areas with limited access to help
🔸places near markets, parking areas, and other points where animals often appear

💡 Each such point is not just a feeder, but a care point where furry friends get a chance for regular help and attention.

🤝 Together with foundations and volunteers, we want to create a map of the areas where such support is needed most and develop a system of care where it is truly necessary.

How can you support the project? 💸

The development of TailsPal smart feeders is possible only thanks to the support of people and partners who care about the fate of animals.

You can help the project by:
