We took Mashenka into foster care at the beginning of March and performed surgery. We found her by the roadside after she had been hit by a car. She had been lying there for 4 days in the cold, in severe pain.
Her pelvis was shattered.
The surgery went well. We also discovered a large stick stuck in her mouth — she was in great pain. It was removed, and now we are treating the area so her mouth can heal. A plate was inserted into her pelvis, which can be seen in the X-ray.
Done so far:

• 30 days in foster care
• Surgery completed, and within 18 days we fully paid off the debt of 1396 GEL (450$)
• Treating her stitches twice a day
• Relearning how to walk after a severe injury and surgery
• Preliminary ultrasound done to identify the cause of bleeding; she is currently undergoing anti-inflammatory treatment

• Tests: urinalysis + cytology + tumor cytology (she urinates blood, the cause must be identified) — 200 GEL (75$)
• Care and recovery: Foster care, medications, food, treatment, pads, wipes — 400 GEL per month (150$)

• Microchip, passport, vaccine titers — 390 GEL (145$)
• Additional tests to determine the cause of bleeding — 200 GEL (75$)
