We took her from a shelter in August 2025. If you scroll to the last slide, you can see what she looked like then: purulent ulcers, bedsores, a small dense lump on her paw — she was a bald skeleton. Verona was in a terrible condition, yet her hairless tail kept wagging. “We’ll take her, treat her, let her live out her days,” we thought… and we were wrong.
✨ A few months later, a Golden Retriever mix rose from what had been a dying little creature. Not as old as we first believed. She runs and jumps like a young dog. Her tail never stops wagging, she looks into your eyes, delights in every moment of her new healthy life, and most of all — she blossoms in the presence of a human.

🌟 Vaccinated, treated for parasites, clinically healthy
🌟 Re-sterilized (it turned out that years ago one ovary had not been removed; she was still going into heat)
🌟 Age-related organ changes (slightly enlarged spleen — normal in her case). Blood tests and biochemistry are excellent; tests for blood parasites are negative.
📍 Verona needs a family. That family can be anywhere in the world. Our former wards now live all over — we can arrange transport.
🌸 Vero adores walks and people. We may not deserve such love, but Verona doesn’t care — she is the kind of dog created to make sure “you never cry again.”
🌸 Care needs: quality food, vitamin courses for coat and shine, regular parasite prevention, annual check-ups and vaccinations. Nothing extraordinary.
🌸 She is a mature yet healthy dog. We will place her only in a responsible family, providing all medical records and recommendations — and we will stay in touch.
🤝 Vero can live with other dogs, gets along with children and elderly people, and is calm with cats.
🌸 She is patient, gentle, bright, active yet calm. House-trained, well socialized, loves city life. She can accompany you to cafés, workshops, even museums (if dogs are allowed 😈).
