A Volunteer’s Day — Through the Eyes of a Stray Tail 🐶🧡

From the point of view of a little tail

Hi there! I’m one of those tails you may have seen wandering the street. I live outside, I know every smell, every rustle. But today, I want to tell you about someone special. Their name? Volunteer.

☀️ Morning

They come early. While the city stretches and yawns, I hear their footsteps. There’s a bag, a bowl, a bottle of water. Sometimes — medicine. Always — kindness.

🕓 Day

They’re everywhere. To the vet, to the shelter, to check on the ginger one who vanished. They write posts, make calls, explain things. Sometimes they cry. But only because they care so deeply.

🌙 Evening

They return to check on us. They shine a light. Clean the feeder. Whisper our names. I look into their eyes. If I could speak, I’d say:

💛 “Thank you for being here. You’re my human — even if I don’t have a home yet.”

🐾 Being a volunteer isn’t a job.

It’s a soul that never walks away. And I, a little street tail, know that for sure.
